This year’s Halloween costume idea fit my current situation perfectly. I decided I would put a twist on a classic costume -.. Snow White, but as if she bit the apple. I am eating everything in sight these days. EVERYTHING. If you leave a snack around me, I will most certainly eat it. I just can’t help it.  And to think, I still have to survive the holidays!

I’ve always wanted to do a skull theme, but have been intimidated by the complexity and the sheer amount of time it was bound to take me. I was torn because Halloween is already a very hectic day in the King home – we have our annual King’s Haunted house that my hubby works so hard to create and plan weeks before, and this would also be Avery’s first year trick- or- treating, so we were anxious to take her around the block as soon as I got home from work.

Knowing all the things I had to do that day, painting a skull just sounded a like a lot of work. I decided, however, that I would go out with a bang since next year I’ll have a 2 year old AND a 7 month old and I reeeally wouldn’t have any time to dress up for my work festivities. I bit the bullet and looked up “easy skull tutorial” on Youtube.
